Brampton Councillor Rowena Santos Appointed to Key Leadership Roles Highlighting Resident Priorities
Brampton Wards 1 & 5 Councillor Rowena Santos was recently appointed to represent residents at the city, regional, and national levels. These appointments recognize the leadership that Councillor Santos has provided on important priorities for residents and the need to build momentum to ensure significant progress can be made in the next four years.
The Integrity Commissioner rules that there is no evidence or incidents of harassment or bullying and therefore makes “no finding that Councillor Santos bullied or harassed the staff member.”
Much has changed in Brampton since the 1980s, but barriers still exist to prevent women and minorities from getting ahead.
At a Special Council Meeting held on August 5th, we moved and voted in favour of a motion for City Staff to conduct additional public consultation in respect to the Springbrook Official Plan amendments and developer proposed development applications.
